Moving Beyond Survival Mode.
Hi, I’m Nicole —mum of two young boys, lover of coffee (and chocolate), and happiest on walks in nature.
For years, I worked in a busy corporate environment whilst raising a young family. Long days, regular travel, and constant pressure became normal — and without realising it, I slipped into survival mode long before anything big happened.
Looking back, I can see how that constant pressure affected every part of my life — including my marriage.
The divorce process took years, and it kept the strain high the whole time. Becoming a single parent added another layer: logistics, responsibility, constant decisions.
When my dad passed away a short time later, I suppressed my feelings and kept going because I wanted to stay steady for my kids and the people around me.
From the outside, I looked capable. In reality, I was running on empty without a solid foundation.
Not long after, I hit burnout. And when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 46, I couldn’t ignore what my body had been trying to tell me.
That was the turning point. I stopped pushing through and started rebuilding in a practical way — step by step, with a structure I could actually follow.
Over time, that rebuild became the basis of the work I do now. I support women who are navigating major life transitions and want a clear way forward — without having to reach crisis point first.
If you’re feeling stuck in survival mode, you don’t need more motivation or more pressure. You need the right foundations, the right support, and a plan you can follow.
Are you ready to become unstuck and reclaim your energy, confidence, and self-worth?
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not fighting the old, but building the new.”
